As a seasoned graphic designer with a decade of professional experience, my journey began unexpectedly during my undergraduate years as a journalism major. Immersed in the world of storytelling, I discovered a passion for visual communication that transcended the written word. This newfound love for graphic design led me to pivot my career path post-graduation, dedicating myself to mastering the art of design and bringing stories to life through compelling visuals.
My adventure took a significant turn when I moved to Los Angeles to be a part of AmeriCorps VISTA. This experience introduced me to new world perspectives and deepened my appreciation for the dedication and passion driving non-profit organizations. Living in Los Angeles for five vibrant years, I immersed myself in the city's dynamic and eclectic creative scene. The diverse culture and ever-evolving artistic landscape fueled my creativity, allowing me to grow and refine my skills. However, the onset of COVID prompted a return to my roots in Colorado, where I found myself reintroduced to a transformed Denver. The city, now bustling with new energy and opportunities, provided a refreshing backdrop for both personal and professional growth, reminiscent yet distinct from my childhood memories.
Beyond my professional endeavors, I am a passionate Beyoncé enthusiast, finding inspiration in her artistry and resilience. I share my life with two charming black cats, whose playful antics bring joy to my everyday routine. In my leisure time, I enjoy playing and watching tabletop games with friends and loved ones, appreciating the connections that enrich my life. Additionally, I make music in my free time, exploring another facet of my creative expression. This blend of professional dedication and personal passions shapes my identity as a graphic designer, continually driving me to create and innovate.
